Golmar Intercom to CCTV integration

For some time now Golmar has been focusing on integrating its product lines to create comprehensive and powerful solutions. Many Golmar intercom monitors can display images from CCTV cameras, allowing residents to view common areas of a building or homeowners to monitor their driveways at night. This feature is now standard, as Golmar has been providing it in both 2-wire and IP installations for some time.

A less common solution is linking the IP intercom camera feed to the CCTV system.

Yes, the NVR can be configured to display the camera feed from the Golmar IP door panel. Taking that further, when combined with the IP Opener, which can link a segment of CCTV recording to an access event, it provides a way to captur video footage of all visitors that are admitted to the building, a useful tool for the most secure locations.

As a demonstration, we have installed on our own premises, a Golmar 180° camera (single lens, providing a seamless image) near the door panel. The door panel being fitted with an EL632/G+ IP door camera module. We then compared the two images side by side to highlight the excellent quality of the IP panel camera.

Top image: Golmar 180° 8 MPx IP Camera. The image shows the front of the wall to which the camera is mounted, on both sides of the image, indicating that the "180°" field of view is actually even wider than advertised.

Bottom image: The Golmar EL632/G+ 2 MPx IP door panel camera module. This module features a 150° viewing angle, allowing it to capture extensive detail outside the door installation.

As you can see, the image quality is on par with a higher resolution camera when viewed on a standard monitor, as it is the display that is limiting the image quality here, not the camera itself.
